Ocean Village, Southampton

Overview


We were commissioned to produce a full set of existing drawings for a large multi-storey office building totalling approximately 26,000sqft. The work formed part of the client’s wider strategy to improve asset management, support future leasing, and provide accurate documentation for prospective tenants.



Design Approach


Our scope included detailed measured surveys to create up-to-date existing floor plans and elevations, ensuring the client had a reliable baseline record of the building’s layout and structure. From these drawings, we developed clear and compliant lease plans for each of the lettable spaces, along with preliminary space plans illustrating potential subdivision of office layouts.


These plans were tailored to help the client market the building effectively by showing how each area could be used, how furniture and meeting rooms might be arranged, and how circulation could be optimised.



Outcome


The resulting drawing package provides the client with accurate building records and flexible tools for leasing and marketing. With clear lease plans and practical space planning options, the building is now better positioned to attract tenants and support informed decision-making for future improvements.
