Hi, I'm Owen Rushworth
With 14 years' experience working as an architectural technologist, my knowledge covers a wide range of architectural sectors.
I started my career with a small, local practice where I gained valuable knowledge working with developers, specialising in the conversions of existing buildings through either permitted development rights or planning applications. Additionally, I worked with a good deal of commercial property agents providing measured floor plans and elevations, lease plans or land registry compliant plans, along with proposal drawings when required. I also worked with plenty of domestic clients looking to extend or alter their homes or seeking advice on properties they were planning to purchase.
After some time with the smaller company, I decided that a difference in environment would help to further progress my knowledge and skill set. I moved to a larger architectural practice that specialised in new-build dwellings and expansive housing developments. Working mainly with the planning team, I gained extensive experience in new-build housing developments for large-scale developers, both locally and nationally. I also worked on projects in the elderly care and industrial sectors.
In 2019, I decided it was time to set up my own practice. With the range of skills I’ve developed over my career, I’m well equipped to take on a variety of projects. My goal is to provide an affordable, streamlined service, while ensuring that every design is cost-effective, efficient, and tailored to your brief. I take a personal approach to every project, ensuring close attention to your needs and requirements.
